This has nothing to do with photography, but I still wanted to share this little episode with you.
For weeks now I’ve been getting eMails from Amazon, telling me that there was a payment on my Amazon Marketplace seller’s account which they would like to transfer to my bank accout. Since I couldn’t remember ever having such an account, nor ever selling anything via Amazon Marketplace, I ignored those eMails until yesterday, when I decided to write to Amazon and ask them why they kept sending me those messages.
It turned out that back in 2002 I actually did sell something via Marketplace, namely a CD by Glenn Gould, for 9,49 €, and that the money had indeed never been transferred to my bank account.
Funny, huh? After seven and a half years they get back to me to mell me they owe me ten bucks But at least this shows that they thoroughly keep track of the transactions being made via their platform, and that they care about everything going the right way!
P.S.: I’m working on my review of the Cosmicar/Pentax 25/1.4, so expect it soon!
