This is a shot I’ve wanted to take for quite some time now, but didn’t find the right opportunity. Yesterday I was working late, and the main hall of the humanities was dark and empty – perfect!

At first I couldn’t decide whether I should develop this in color or in black and white, so I did both. Then I remembered a hint from Amy Medina, who told me she was working with black and white adjustment layers in Photoshop. Since I don’t have Photoshop, I imported both the color and b&w versions into Paint.NET and merged them – I think I quite like the look so far!
