I must say I don’t like the PEN series’ kit zoom very much. It’s my wide-angle compromise lens until I can afford the new 9-18/4-5.6. It lacks contrast, hasn’t got very pleasant colors (imho) and is sharp only at the wide end. I really only use it when there’s no way around …
