Mirrorless Rumors report on a leak of the rumored NC-1 mirrorless interchangeable lens compact from Pentax, and show a picture (reproduced below) of what the camera and kit lenses will look like.
If their information is correct, the NC-1 has a (standard) 1/2.33″ sensor (5.6x crop) with 14 megapixels — supposedly the same as in Kenko’s long-overdue C-mount compact –, and will come with two lenses initially, an 8.5mm f/1.9 prime (47mm-equivalent) and a 5-15mm f/2.8-4.5 zoom (28-84mm-equivalent).
It sounds very interesting at least, and it looks like it could be a fun little camera. We’re still waiting for the Kenko C-mount compact, which I would love to try out, but apart from a showcase at the recent CP+ fair in Tokyo, nothing has been heard of it recently.
