A rosebud flower. I love the colour of these!  Olympus E-P1 + Lumix 20/1.7 @ f/1.7, 1/3200 sec, ISO 200 Here’s the video of the helicopter landing in front of our house. My memory card went full halfway through, so unfortunately I couldn’t film its takeoff. This morning, a helicopter landed right in front of our house, on the lawn of the police station on the opposite side of the street. You can imagine how exciting this was for Emil! Yesterday, after some heavy rain, the water that came down from the hills decided not to stay in the sewers, but instead make its way up through the tarmac and onto the street. This is how it looked like:  Olympus E-P1 + Cosmicar/Pentax 25/1.4 @ f/2, 1/250 sec, ISO 200 They decided to dig up the road the same evening and kept digging until way past midnight. Well, at least it was fixed this morning … just in time, as it started raining again later today. |
