43rumors editor has Noktor 50/0.95

The editor of 43rumors.com writes that he has received his Noktor 50/0.95 lens. He included three sample pictures taken with the lens as well as some iPhone shots showing the lens as well as the setup with his white E-P1. Also, in his pictures you can see that the Noktor lenses have a serial number engraved at the bottom of the front part of the lens barrel, in this case it’s “N0. 0002” – a very early model thusly.

More Noktor 50/0.95 samples / When photograpy gets out of control

Richard Thompson III has posted some sample shots with the Noktor HyperPrime 50mm f/0.95 Micro Four Thirds lens, taken in Hong Kong.

dpreview Micro Four Thirds Talk forum user DaveJC contemplates about how photography changed since the introduction (and fast advance) of digital technology, and how it got out of control for him. Interesting!

Noktor 50/0.95 review by Philip Bloom

Philip Bloom is the second to write a review on the new Noktor HyperPrime 50mm f/0.95 Micro Four Thirds lens. While Steve Huff wasn’t too enthusiastic about the lens in the end, Philip seems to like it quite much (“I would love to see them make one for the Canons now!”) Being a videographer, his review doesn’t feature many stills, but a great HD video that really makes the lens shine.

You can find his review here.

Noktor 50/0.95 continuously evaluated by Steve Huff

After receving the lens yesterday, Steve quickly posted some early impressions and then some more impressions. Due to the huge interest in the lens, its performance and his evaluation, he now put up his third post in a row, the “The Noktor 50 f/0.95 Lens Review Diary“. You can find quite a bunch of pictures taken with the Noktor on his site already, and you should stay tuned as he is going to post new impressions regularly for the next week or two.

UPDATE #3: On March 2nd, german technology website heise.de also mention the announcement of the lens. Read their short news here. (If this turns up at heise, it means it’s serious.)
